Regional Tour – North West and North East
Starting a two day tour of the North West and North East, Sayeeda started her day in Pendle at the Ace Centre with Andrew Stephenson MP before going live on air on Pendle Community Radio.
Following this it was off to the Lancashire Telegraph to wish the team a very happy 125th birthday. After lunch it was off to Chorley to meet with Councillors and local residents before dropping in to Burscough Wharf to meet local businesses there.
Following the visit to Burscough it was off to Ribble Valley to help get out the vote in the Salthill by election.
After an overnight stay it was back on the road up to Kendal to meet with James Airey, Leader of the Conservative Group for a briefing on local campaigns before heading to chair a ‘Meet the Chairman’ event. After Kendal, Sayeeda continued to Carlisle with John Stevenson MP to visit the Tullie House museum and art gallery before chairing another ‘Meet the Chairman’ at Carlisle Football club.
