Regional Tour – Midlands

Today, Sayeeda started a two day tour to the Midlands. Starting the day in Dudley, Sayeeda joined the Conservative group members to hear about their work on community cohesion before moving on to Worcester to meet Robin Walker MP at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce to meet with local small businesses.

Following on from the productive meeting in Worcester Sayeeda moved on to Bromsgrove for a Meet the Chairman event before speaking at a fundraising dinner.

After a short break Sayeeda travelled to North Warwickshire to meet Cllr  Peter Fowler at the re opened community village shop in Fillongley who kindly introduced her to Sara Hewitt, owner who briefed Sayeeda on the project. After purchasing a quarter of bon bons Sayeeda departed for Nuneaton where she was met by Marcus Jones MP who kindly showed her round Nuneaton Academy.

After Nuneaton it was off to Cannock Chase where Aiden Burley MP met Sayeeda at the Conservative Club where she spoke at a Meet the Chairman event before taking her to local charity, Home Comforts.

Straight after Cannock it was time to nip to Newcastle under Lyme to help the team campaign in the local by election before arriving in Mid Derbyshire for their annual dinner.
