Speaker at “Connecting Cultures” Islamic Exhibition 2009
In her capacity as a Member of the Mosaic’s Speaker Bureau Baroness Warsi today attended the Makkah Majid Mosques “Connecting Cultures” Islamic Exhibition.
In her speech she expressed her concern over the misrepresentation of Islam
She said:
The British Muslim Community unfortunately feels a deep sense of unease on how it is misrepresented in the media. It is therefore vital that events such as “Connecting Cultures” today are held up and down the country so that people can gain an invaluable insight into Mosques and the British Muslim Communities”
